Keeping your pool extra happy

When you choose A1 Pristine Pool, your pool is in great hands. However, an important factor in keeping your pool beautiful is making sure your pump runs long enough everyday to cycle all the water through the filter.

For Standard Size Pools (15'x30')

It is recommended that you run your pool pump 6 to 8 hours per day. In the winter, you may opt to decrease your pump run time to 5 to 6 hours per day.

Short Run Time Risks

Running your pump less than the necessary time might save you a few bucks on your electric bill, but it'll cost you even more in the long run. Insufficient pump time almost always contributes to algae bloom. This adds extra strain on your system and causes premature breakdowns in your pump equipment and filter system.  These are expensive to repair and replace.

Do you Have Questions on Pool Run Times?

If you have questions about how long your pump should be on, we can help you calibrate your pool timer so your pump maintains an efficient and run time.

The Prettiest Pools Want your Attention

Please remember to remove rafts and toys from the water after use. Also you will need to net your pool in between service days to minimize stains and chemistry issues that arise from leaves and dirt sitting in your pool.
